Whipsaw has launched over 800 products to market, including the Tonal Strength Training System, Dropcam security cameras, the Brita Stream water pitcher, the Nike Fuelband, and many more. For the first time, you can get a behind the scenes at the products, services, and experiences we develop through the Whipsaw Research Network. Through this community, you can be part of a collaborative process that helps shapes the future of the products you use in your everyday life.

We strive to create smart, unique, and intuitive solutions that profoundly connect with users on both rational and emotional levels.

As a design studio, we want to make sure we are intentional about how we research and design innovative solutions — ones that are inclusive and representative of those they impact. Our research network aims to bring fresh voices and perspectives to Whipsaw designers working on new, innovative products. We want to create a thoughtful space for design to happen as a partnership with people as part of the design process.

What to expect when you join

You may be wondering, am I the kind of person they are looking for? The answer is, Yes. Yes because we need people from all backgrounds, body types, genders, sexualities, ethnicities/religions, abilities, socioeconomic statuses, and experiences. We want to build a diverse community that listens to and understands who we are designing for.

If that’s you, we invite you to join the research network.

By signing up, you’ll be presented with early access to developing products, paid research opportunities, and community discussions and workshops. Once a part of the community, the feedback you provide will play a vital part in creating products and experiences that enrich the human experience.
