Eitan CherMechanical Engineer
Eitan has a lifelong passion for tinkering. He discovered at an early age that if you take enough screws out of something, you could figure out how it works. He eventually learned to put things together too and built robots, trebuchets, and a Grand Orrery while studying Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder. He dove into consumer product design after reading The Design of Everyday Things, leading him to complete Northwestern University’s MS program in Engineering Design and Innovation.
Eitan moved to the Bay Area in 2014, worked at New Deal Design, then joined Whipsaw in 2017. When he’s not at Whipsaw Eitan is probably playing cello with his string quartet or inventing an insanely intricate 3d puzzle.
