This position will wear many hats, encompassing both internally-focused activities like directing and developing designers; and externally-focused activities like business development and client management. The role will require great communication skills (oral and written), advanced design skills, organization and planning skills, and business skills. This individual must also be a passionate design thinker, a creative problem solver and a born leader. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary commensurate with experience. 2. ID CAD Specialist

We are seeking a talented 3D CAD surfacing specialist with a background in Industrial Design. This person should enjoy working in 3D CAD and take pride in their ability to create highly refined CAD surfaces and renders. The specific role will be to translate the sketches and designs of Whipsaw’s Industrial Design team into 3D CAD (preferably Rhino). This person must be able to create surfaces which are visually stunning and flawless from a construction standpoint; these surfaces will often be used for transition into mechanical engineering. The ability to create “lifelike” quality renders (light, shadow, reflection, etc…) is critical for this position, and this individual must be passionate about such details. These renders will be used for client presentations and must be realistic in appearance and quickly produced. To be clear, this is not an Industrial Designer position; we are specifically seeking a 3D CAD surfacing specialist.
