Project Manager (Full-time, Contract)

Our multi-disciplinary team of industrial designers, UX/UI designers, and engineers is dedicated to crafting intelligent, unique, and intuitive solutions that resonate deeply with end users. We seek a detail-oriented, product-focused Associate Project Manager with a strategic mindset to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support and assist in the definition and implementation of comprehensive project plans for a wide array of projects, focusing on Whipsaw internal projects, Industrial Design projects, and Experience Design projects. This role is a contract-to-hire and hourly-paid position.

What you'll do

Support Project Management: Assist in overseeing diverse projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives, timelines, and budget.

Facilitate Communication: Act as a key liaison between various teams and clients, fostering clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of project tasks, helping to connect various aspects of the product development process.

Visual Thinking: Engage in visual and creative thinking to ensure project plans are effectively translated into actionable steps.

Problem Solving: Be a proactive problem solver, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the senior project manager and other team members to bring projects to successful completion, exemplifying teamwork and initiative.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience, preferably within the product development or design sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
  • Ability to think strategically and visually to aid in project planning.
