"In search of good design" — the Red Dot Design Award is one of the world's largest design competitions, with a history spanning more than 70 years. A jury first convened in 1955 to assess the best designs of its time, and in the 1990s, Professor Dr. Peter Zec, Founder and CEO, developed the name and brand of the award. Today, the Red Dot distinction is recognized worldwide as a mark of high design quality, with award-winning works presented in yearbooks, in the Red Dot Design Museums, and online. This year, we're proud to celebrate Gridstack and Ohm.

Gridstack

Gridstack is a modular NAS built for creative professionals who need fast, reliable, and expandable storage to collaborate locally or securely remotely. As file sizes explode and hybrid workflows accelerate, Gridstack provides a scalable system that grows with creators so the only limit to their creativity is their imagination. Learn more.

Ohm Resonance Lamp

The Ohm Resonance Lamp turns proven physiology into an instinctive ritual. Designed in partnership with wellness startup Ohm, the sculptural lamp and its companion stone pair hand-blown glass with warm, weighted materials, a continuous curvature, carefully shaped diffusion, and a subtle twist interaction that feels alive in the hand. A gentle pulse of light guides users into resonant breathing while light-based sensors in the stone adjust the cadence in real time. We shaped the full experience across industrial design, brand identity, and digital, helping people slow down, breathe better, and feel more grounded in daily life. Learn more.
